Quality Inspection & Testing:
• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods based on quality specifications
• Conduct physical, chemical, or microbiological tests (depending on product type)
• Monitor product parameters (e.g., temperature, texture, appearance, weight, moisture content)
Documentation & Reporting:
• Record inspection results accurately in QC checklists, forms, and systems
• Report non-conformities, deviations, or out-of-spec results to the Quality Supervisor/Manager
• Assist in preparing quality reports for audits or management review
Compliance Monitoring:
• Ensure production follows GMP, HACCP, and company SOPs
• Conduct hygiene and cleanliness inspections in production areas
• Participate in internal audits or regulatory inspections as needed
Product Release & Rejection:
• Approve or reject materials and finished goods based on inspection results
• Label and segregate non-conforming items for further action
Continuous Improvement:
• Provide feedback to production teams on quality issues
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support quality improvement projects or new product trials
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cashiering & Customer Service
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, e-wallet, and voucher transactions accurately.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policies.
• Maintain proper cash handling practices and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier counter and surrounding area.
Operational Support
• Assist in replenishing merchandise at the cashier counter area.
• Support daily outlet operations as directed by the shop in-charge.
• Handle customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
Stock & Inventory
• Participate in scheduled stock count exercises (daily, weekly, monthly, or annual as required).
• Assist in verifying physical stock against system records.
• Report stock discrepancies or damages to the shop in-charge.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability during the stock take process.

Merchandising & Display
• Ensure products are displayed neatly, attractively, and according to company guidelines.
• Replenish product displays promptly to avoid stock-outs.
• Monitor product freshness, packaging, and expiry dates (if applicable).
Stock & Inventory
• Participate in scheduled stock count exercises (daily, weekly, monthly, or annual as required).
• Assist in verifying physical stock against system records.
• Report stock discrepancies or damages to the shop in-charge.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability during the stock take process.

Production Operations:
• Operate chocolate processing and packing machines (e.g. mixers, tempering machines, moulding equipment).
• Prepare raw materials according to production schedules.
• Monitor temperature, timing, and mixing processes for quality control.
• Load and unload materials from production lines.
Quality & Hygiene:
• Conduct visual checks to ensure product quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area according to hygiene standards.
• Report any product or machinery defects to supervisor immediately.
Record Keeping:
• Complete production records and log sheets accurately.
• Track material usage and report discrepancies.
Safety Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with maintenance, quality control, and warehouse teams.
• Support other production tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
